The iconic Australian wine dynasty De Bortoli has just launched 17 Trees, a vegan-friendly, sustainably produced wine brand made with recycled packaging. The family started its sustainable journey over 15 years ago and today they are taking a step further by launching a wine that will allow for a truly positive impact on Australian forests as for each case sold, a native tree will be planted down under. The idea initially started as planting 17 trees, 1 for each of the 17 company vehicle they had, to offset the carbon emissions. Every case of wine sold contributes towards planting trees to rebuild the Australian bushland lost during the 2019-2020 fires with indigenous trees.
